Wages is a small labour-statistics desk. A Younivi publication from New Zealand. There is no research floor, no sales desk and no invented masthead of analysts.
The product is narrow on purpose. The all-countries pages show one World Bank (ILO modelled) series at a time: GDP per person employed, wage and salaried workers, vulnerable employment, the employment-to-population ratio, and labour-force participation. Each page has a filterable chart, a ranked table, a short explanation, and a citation.
These are not pay packets. Output per worker is labour productivity, not a wage. Wage-worker and vulnerable-employment shares describe the structure of employment. Ratios describe how many people work, not what they earn.
Country desks at /us/, /uk/, /ca/, /au/, /de/, /fr/, /it/, /ea/, /ie/, /kr/, /tw/, /nz/ — plus noindex /sg/ and /za/ — use the same figures. They only turn the menu toward that reader and show a related-country subset. They do not invent a national statistical-office wage series we have not ingested. World Bank Open Data does not publish Taiwan on these labour indicators; the Taiwan desk shows related countries only.
